Hi Workshop families!
The Christmas Parade is already here, Saturday Dec 9 at Charlotte High in Punta Gorda! Drop off times are: Ovations and Company members 10:30AM, kids 7 & up please arrive at 11:15AM, 3-6 yrs please arrive by 11:45AM.. Be sure to drop off your child at the High School with us, then park at The Event Center, there will be a bus running back and forth for transportation. The majority of our participants are anxious to dance down the parade, but we will also have a “FLOAT” decorated to fit the theme of the parade for small children to ride in! Chaperones, please wear FDW shirts (available at studio for $15-$22) & FDW Colors Red, Black and White! Parents: PLEASE DROP OFF REFRESHMENTS AT THE STUDIO THIS WEEK. The refreshments will be waiting for us at the end of the parade route at The Event Center, so we will NOT be able to take them on the truck. The Chamber assigned us group number 39. The Florida Dance Company will be dressed in RED. We are also looking for wagons for chaperones to store water in along the parade route. If you have one please let us know or bring with you ☺ Thank you!
Ovations and our Florida Dance Company had a fantastic time kicking off the holiday season performing at the Veteran’s Parade, and Deans South of the Border! We are looking forward to the parade and Guest performing in the Mistletoe Ball, fundraiser for the Homeless Coalition of Charlotte County.
Don’t miss our Ovations Competition Team Showcase! Come see all our soloists, duo/trios and groups on stage before the competition season starts! This fundraising event for our team will help to decrease the cost of entry fees for our families, while giving our dancers the chance to rehearse on stage during the polishing process! December 11 is Party Week! The schedule of classes changes that week. Please see times on the next page, you will be coming at a different time for that week only! During Party Week, wear dance clothes, you will be dancing! Anyone who would like to participate in the “Grab Gift “ exchange, simply bring in a $5-$7 gift, and be sure to sign your name so everyone will know who to thank. Girls bring for girls, guys for guys & your age! There will be food & fun too!

**Christmas break for the studio starts Wednesday, December 13th. Classes start back Monday, January 8th.** Make up classes for December, and any day with less yearly classes then others will be scheduled closer to Showtime for extra routine drills!
Friendly reminder: All tuition and costumes must be paid in full by Dec. 15. We begin costume orders over the break. Your child’s costume cannot be ordered if tuition and costumes are not up to date! Thank you for your timely payments and understanding.
