FLORIDA DANCE WORKSHOP

No doubt you'll agree that the proof of an excellent education in the arts, is the  subsequent, professional accomplishments and continued higher education, of that school's former students.

Workshop trained “Marcus Bellamy” has appeared in the Disneymusical “TARZAN”. He performed an amazing 2 and ½ minute SOLO during the production!  Marcus received all of his formative training ONLY at FDW. We are happy to announce  that he has landed the lead role in the 2010 Broadway production of SPIDERMAN.  He has also, recently, been the star of "Vices" at the Caldwell Theatre in Boca Raton. The production received raved reviews!

 

We encourage prospective students and parents to note the accomplishments of our student alumnae  if you are shopping for a performing arts school in this area.

     The individuals' professional successes, listed below, were achieved after receiving ALL of their formative training under our proven, successful, "Workshop" curriculum.  MANY Workshop alumnae have been accepted to professional companies, college performing arts programs, and/or nationally recognized schools, including New York’s "JULLIARD", the "JOFFREY" and the "ALVIN AILEY TRAINING PROGRAM".

   We will be happy to supply any prospective students  family with the names of these successful alumnae.  Anyone in the process of choosing a school should carefully investigate, ask questions, and compare training results , to ensure the very best in their arts education.

Florida Dance Workshop dancers are properly prepared to successfully pass auditions and have a working knowledge of the history and traditions of classical ballets and musical theater. The school repertory includes, condensed versions of famous ballets, as well as, mini-musicals with dramatic and vocal enhancements. Some of the ballets and shows our Workshop dancers have presented in past Showtime productions, have included:
